Ladies and Gentlemen,

The Village Idiots are once again putting together a LAN party!

In relation to the LAN and planning/organization of such we want your ideas, thoughts and opinions of what needs to be focused on to make this the best LAN ever so please reply with any thoughts or suggestions.

- Official Title - "Idiots Array 07"

- Dates - Memorial Day Weekend - May 25th - 28th (Friday - Monday) 2007

- Location - Morning Star Church 2900 E. Markland Ave. Kokomo, In 46901-6670 (see below for more info)

- Cost - $40 Before March 1st | $50 March 1st until 1 week before event | NO PAYMENTS ACCEPTED @ DOOR

* Unreal Tournament 3 - Assuming it is out AND more than two people have boxes that can handle it

**NOTE**
- Last year CS:S was BY FAR the most played game followed closely by Battlefield 2 and Unreal Tournament 2004 and lastly some 1.6 was played here and there. We expect this year to be pretty much the same with maybe 2142 taking a higher position than BF2 and UT2k4 this time around.

--Many of us are Windows/Linux geeks so Tech Support shouldn't need one specific person

- Location Info:
It's not in the church per se, but in the Recreation Center on the church property.No Alcohol allowed on site. There will be a designated smoking area for us (raises hand) cancer addicts.More nfoz as Ty stops being lazy....

- Sleeping Arrangements - On site, bring a pillow and a sleeping bag/blanket at a minimum! Ty said there are showers on site as well so bring a towel too.
- Intarwebz availability - I *think* this won't be a problem, need Ty to confirm(wireless/wired)
- Seating Arrangements - Seating assignments will be posted once 10+ people PAYTFUP
- Food - If we get enough people to pay up on time we should be able to provide at least one meal per day if not 2 + snacks/drinks
- Other Activities beyond PC Gaming
* Volleyball
* Consolz(assuming TV on site, Ty?)

*What to bring: Your PC, all cables, mouse and mousepad, headphones (speakers are not allowed at a LAN dummy), networking cable(CAT5e), ALL SOFTWARE AND CD KEYS TO REINSTALL YOUR PC AND GAMES!!! (It happens every time we do this, some guy gets to the event only to have a corruption in their windows OS. Just be prepared you know), nice chair if you are picky, SURGE PROTECTOR(s), extra PC stuff or xtra PCs if you have them to help out the morons, PC stuff to auction off (money can be donated to be used for server and website maintainance) tent and air mattress or money for hotel, some extra cash for the auction and for unexpected things that will pop up.

*What not to bring: Drugs, stolen goods, people who can't pay, firearms, alcohol (keep it in your car), pets, Osama's the best T-shirts, porn, virus infected PCs (we will do a virus scan, but please make sure to scan before shutting down for the last time before coming ( http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ ).

Anyone who attends must pay, if all goes well we'll have some left over money to help pay for our servers and website. It's not like anyone is going to make money from the LAN. Also the money covers food and facility costs. Gaming is just the excuse we use to get together and meet in real life who we spend all our time with.
